Mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law remain unaffected.

other products or services expressly offered directly by Vida Workstation.
Sections concerning purchases apply only where Vida Workstation itself acts as the seller or contractual service provider.
If a product or service is purchased from a third-party retailer, marketplace, Bestara-linked merchant or another external provider, the relevant contract is generally concluded between the customer and that third party.
3. Vida Workstation Content
Vida Workstation creates and publishes content relating to topics including:
Kitchen & Baking;
food and recipes;
Style & Fashion;
Accessory Design & Handmade;
Kids & Creativity;
lifestyle and creative ideas;
music and audio;

Ideas & Guides; and
related creative and lifestyle subjects.
Content may be provided in written, visual, audio, video, downloadable or other digital formats.
4. General Information Only
Content published on Vida Workstation is generally provided for informational, educational, creative or entertainment purposes.
Although we aim to create content carefully, we do not guarantee that every article, recommendation, recipe, guide or other piece of content will be suitable for every individual situation.
Users are responsible for evaluating whether information is appropriate for their own circumstances.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as individual legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice unless expressly stated otherwise.
Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
5. Recipes, Food and Kitchen Content
Recipes, cooking suggestions and food-related information are provided for general informational and creative purposes.
Users are responsible for:
checking ingredients;
considering personal allergies and intolerances;
observing food-safety requirements;
ensuring appropriate cooking temperatures;
checking dietary requirements; and
determining whether a recipe is suitable for themselves or other persons.
Ingredient composition may vary between manufacturers and countries.
If allergies, intolerances or medical dietary restrictions are relevant, users should verify product labels and obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
6. Kids & Creativity Content
Vida Workstation may provide family-friendly content, children's stories, creative activities, craft ideas, entertainment or other Kids & Creativity content.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for deciding whether particular content or activities are appropriate for a child.
Activities involving:
small objects;
scissors;
tools;
heat;
cooking;
craft materials;
adhesives;
paints;
electronic equipment; or
other potentially hazardous materials
should only be carried out with appropriate adult supervision and according to the age and abilities of the child.
The website is not intended to replace parental supervision.
7. Audio, Music and Relaxation Content
Vida Workstation may provide music, nature sounds, calming audio, podcasts or other audio content.
Relaxation, meditation or calming content is provided for general lifestyle and entertainment purposes.
Such content is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
8. Bestara
Vida Workstation may contain links to Bestara.
Bestara may provide functionality relating to product discovery, product comparison, retailers, prices, promotions, coupons, offers, shipping information or other commercial information.
Bestara is a separate website or digital service experience and may have its own:
Terms;
Privacy Policy;
Affiliate Disclosure;
commercial information; and
other legal notices.
Users should review the legal information applicable to Bestara when using that service.
9. Purchases Through Bestara or External Retailers
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Vida Workstation is not the seller of products purchased from a third-party retailer after a user follows a link from Vida Workstation or Bestara.
The purchase contract in such cases is generally concluded directly between the customer and the relevant retailer.
The retailer is responsible for matters such as:
product availability;
final price;
payment;
shipping;
delivery;
product quality;
statutory warranty;
returns;
cancellation rights;
customer service; and
refunds.
The retailer's terms and legal notices apply to the relevant transaction.
10. Affiliate Links and Commercial Content
Vida Workstation may contain:
affiliate links;
commercial links;
product recommendations;
sponsored content;
gifted products;
paid collaborations; or
advertising.
If a qualifying transaction occurs through an affiliate relationship, Vida Workstation or an associated commercial service may receive a commission or other compensation.
Affiliate and advertising relationships will be disclosed where required.
Further information is available in our Affiliate Disclosure.
11. Prices, Offers and Product Information from Third Parties
Prices, coupons, discounts, shipping costs, availability and promotional conditions displayed or discussed on Vida Workstation may change.
Where information originates from Bestara, a retailer or another third-party provider, visitors should verify the final information before completing a transaction.
The final price and contractual information displayed by the relevant retailer at the time of purchase generally govern the transaction with that retailer.
Vida Workstation does not guarantee that every available retailer, promotion, coupon, discount or price on the internet has been identified.
Vida Workstation also does not guarantee that a displayed offer represents the lowest price available in the market.
12. Direct Sales by Vida Workstation
Vida Workstation may offer products or services directly through www.v-aw.com.
These may include, for example:
digital products;
downloadable content;
guides;
templates;
audio products;
creative resources;
physical products;
accessories;
lifestyle products;
creative products;
services; or
other items expressly identified as being sold by Vida Workstation.
Where Vida Workstation directly offers a product for sale, additional product-specific information displayed before purchase forms part of the contractual information.
13. Formation of a Contract
Unless otherwise expressly stated during checkout, the presentation of a product or service on the website does not itself constitute a legally binding offer.
By submitting an order, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the selected product or service.
A contract is concluded when Vida Workstation accepts the order, for example by:
sending an explicit order acceptance;
providing access to a purchased digital product;
dispatching a physical product; or
otherwise expressly confirming acceptance of the order.
An automatically generated acknowledgement confirming receipt of an order does not necessarily constitute acceptance unless it expressly states that the order has been accepted.
The exact checkout and contract-formation process applicable to a particular offer will be displayed where required.
14. Information Before Purchase
Where Vida Workstation offers products or services directly to consumers online, legally required pre-contractual information will be provided before the customer submits a binding order.
Depending on the offer, this may include information concerning:
essential characteristics;
total price;
applicable taxes;
shipping costs;
payment methods;
delivery conditions;
contract duration;
cancellation rights;
functionality of digital products;
compatibility or interoperability where applicable; and
other legally required information.
The order interface will be designed to make clear when an order creates an obligation to pay.
15. Prices and Taxes
Prices applicable to direct Vida Workstation sales will be displayed before the customer submits an order.
Any additional delivery or other mandatory charges will be disclosed where required before purchase.
Vida Workstation currently operates under the Kleinunternehmerregelung according to § 19 UStG.
Where this tax treatment applies, German VAT is not shown separately on invoices.
If the tax status of Vida Workstation changes, pricing and tax information on the website will be updated accordingly.
16. Payment
Available payment methods for direct purchases will be displayed during checkout.
Payment may be processed through external payment service providers.
Where a payment provider is used, the provider's additional terms and privacy information may apply to its processing of the payment.
Vida Workstation does not intend to store complete payment-card details where payment information is processed directly by a specialised payment provider.
17. Physical Products
If Vida Workstation offers physical products directly, the applicable:
delivery area;
delivery method;
shipping cost;
estimated delivery time; and
other relevant delivery information
will be displayed before completion of the order where required.
Physical products may in some cases be shipped or fulfilled by an external logistics or fulfilment partner.
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Ownership of physical goods may remain with Vida Workstation until the purchase price has been paid in full, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Digital Products and Downloads
Digital products may include:
downloadable files;
guides;
templates;
patterns;
audio files;
digital creative materials;
educational resources; or
other electronically supplied content.
Unless otherwise agreed, digital content will normally be made available after successful completion of the purchase.
Access may be provided through:
a download link;
email;
a customer area;
a third-party delivery platform; or
another method described before purchase.
Where applicable, statutory provisions governing digital products remain unaffected.
19. Licence for Purchased Digital Content
Unless a product description expressly provides different licence terms, digital content purchased directly from Vida Workstation is provided for the purchaser's personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable use.
Purchasers may not, unless expressly authorised:
resell the digital content;
redistribute it;
upload it for public access;
share paid download links publicly;
reproduce it for commercial distribution;
claim it as their own work; or
sublicense it to third parties.
If a specific product includes a commercial-use licence, the terms of that licence will be provided separately.
Mandatory rights under copyright law remain unaffected.
20. Right of Withdrawal / Widerrufsrecht
Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts.
Where such a right applies, Vida Workstation will provide the legally required Widerrufsbelehrung / Cancellation Information and, where required, a model withdrawal form before or in connection with the conclusion of the relevant contract.
The statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days, subject to the applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
The specific cancellation information provided for the relevant purchase governs the exercise of the withdrawal right.
This section does not replace the legally required individual Widerrufsbelehrung.
21. Digital Content and Early Expiry of the Withdrawal Right
For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, a consumer's statutory withdrawal right may expire before the end of the usual withdrawal period only where the legal requirements for early expiry are fulfilled.
Where applicable, Vida Workstation will request the legally required:
express consent to begin supplying the digital content before the expiry of the withdrawal period; and
confirmation that the consumer understands that the withdrawal right may be lost when performance begins.
The required contractual confirmation will be provided in accordance with applicable law.
If these requirements are not fulfilled, statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
22. Electronic Withdrawal Function
Where applicable law requires an electronic withdrawal function for distance contracts concluded through an online interface, Vida Workstation will provide the required online withdrawal functionality.
This may include a clearly accessible function allowing eligible consumers to submit a withdrawal electronically during the applicable withdrawal period.
The availability of such a function does not prevent a consumer from exercising a statutory withdrawal right by other legally permitted methods.
23. Returns and Refunds
Where a statutory withdrawal, refund, repair, replacement or other consumer right applies, Vida Workstation will handle the request in accordance with applicable law.
Product-specific return information may be provided before purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory statutory rights relating to:
defective goods;
defective digital products;
statutory warranties;
withdrawal rights; or
other mandatory consumer protection.
For purchases made from external retailers, users must normally contact the retailer responsible for the transaction.
24. Statutory Warranty Rights
Where Vida Workstation acts as the seller, statutory rights relating to defects and conformity apply.
For physical goods, mandatory statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
For digital products, mandatory statutory provisions concerning conformity, provision, defects and remedies remain unaffected.
Vida Workstation will not use these Terms to exclude consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
25. Availability of Products and Services
We aim to provide accurate availability information.
However, products, services or digital content may become unavailable.
Where Vida Workstation cannot fulfil an order after a contract has been concluded, the customer will be informed and any payment will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Vida Workstation reserves the right to discontinue future offers or content, provided this does not affect already existing contractual rights.
26. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, content made available on Vida Workstation, including:
text;
articles;
recipes;
photographs;
graphics;
illustrations;
designs;
videos;
audio;
podcasts;
branding;
logos;
downloadable materials; and
other original creative content
is protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights.
Content may be viewed and used for ordinary personal website use.
Unless permitted by law or expressly authorised, users may not:
reproduce substantial portions of the website;
republish content;
commercially exploit content;
modify and redistribute protected content;
remove copyright or attribution information;
copy photographs or designs for commercial use; or
present Vida Workstation content as their own.
Third-party content remains subject to the rights and licence conditions of the respective rights holder.
27. Acceptable Use
Users must not use the website in a way that:
violates applicable law;
infringes the rights of others;
attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
introduces malware or malicious code;
interferes with website security or operation;
impersonates another person;
uses automated systems in an abusive or technically harmful manner; or
attempts to manipulate, damage or misuse website functionality.
Reasonable indexing by legitimate search engines is not prohibited by this provision.
28. External Websites and Services
Vida Workstation may contain links to websites and services operated by third parties.
Third-party providers are responsible for their own:
content;
services;
data processing;
products;
commercial terms;
pricing; and
availability.
The inclusion of an external link does not automatically constitute an endorsement of every statement, product or service offered by the external provider.
Users should review the relevant third party's own terms and policies.
29. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website reasonably accessible and functional.
However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
Access may temporarily be restricted because of:
maintenance;
technical problems;
security measures;
provider outages;
updates; or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where paid contractual services are affected, mandatory contractual and consumer rights remain unaffected.
30. Accuracy and Corrections
We aim to keep website information accurate and reasonably current.
However, errors, outdated information or technical inaccuracies may occasionally occur.
Where we identify a significant error, we may correct, update or remove the affected information.
For a direct purchase already concluded with Vida Workstation, contractual and statutory customer rights remain unaffected by later website changes.
31. Liability
Vida Workstation is liable without limitation where liability is required by law, including in cases of:
intent;
gross negligence;
injury to life, body or health;
liability under mandatory product-liability law; and
other cases where liability cannot legally be limited.
In cases of slight negligence involving the breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability may be limited, to the extent legally permissible, to damage that was foreseeable and typical for the type of contract concerned.
An essential contractual obligation is an obligation whose fulfilment is necessary for proper performance of the contract and on whose fulfilment the contracting party may regularly rely.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
32. User Responsibility
Visitors are responsible for:
using the website appropriately;
reviewing information before relying on it;
checking third-party terms before external purchases;
determining the suitability of creative or children's activities;
following appropriate food and kitchen safety;
protecting their own devices and accounts; and
making their own purchasing decisions.
This provision does not exclude responsibility that Vida Workstation is legally required to bear.
33. Privacy
Processing of personal data through this website is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy includes information about:
Squarespace;
Google Workspace;
cookies;
SoundCloud;
Bestara links;
external services;
data retention;
international transfers; and
GDPR rights.
34. Changes to These Terms
Vida Workstation may update these Terms where necessary, for example because of:
changes to website functionality;
new products or services;
changes to Bestara integration;
direct sales;
digital products;
payment methods;
legal requirements; or
changes to business operations.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights already acquired under an existing contract unless legally permitted and appropriately agreed.
The current version of these Terms will be published on this page.
35. Applicable Law
These Terms and contractual relationships with Vida Workstation are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), to the extent legally permissible.
For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protections granted by the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence where such protections apply under applicable conflict-of-law rules.
36. Jurisdiction
Where the contracting party is a merchant, legal entity under public law or special fund under public law, and where legally permissible, Düsseldorf may be agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
37. Consumer Dispute Resolution
Vida Workstation is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless participation becomes mandatory in a particular case under applicable law.
Mandatory information obligations arising after an unresolved consumer dispute remain unaffected.
38. Severability and Mandatory Law
If an individual provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected to the extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision will be replaced by the applicable statutory rule where required.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
